THIS SUNDAY: Third Sunday of Advent or Gaudete Sunday, meaning ‘rejoice’ otherwise known as mid advent Sunday. Parish Youth Group: TODAY Sunday, 11th Dec 4.15 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. Year 7 upwards.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION: CONFIRMATION: The preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation for children in year 6 and above who are at not at St. Thomas More School will start on TODAY Sunday, 11th December, 5.00pm in the JP II room.
PRISIONERS OF CONSCIENCE: Christmas for those imprisoned for their belief. Cards will be available for signing in the MRR after Mass TODAY.  All addresses have been done on the envelopes.  You only need to write your message.  Please leave envelopes unsealed.

NEXT SUNDAY  FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT CAFOD World Gifts - There will be retiring collection next Sunday outside the church/porch so that, as in others years, as a parish we might give gifts to communities in poorer parts of the world

DURING THIS WEEK at ST. THOMAS MORE: MONDAY   Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Monday from 6.30pm to 9.00pm. This is a time for silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament by which we are called to pray, to listen, and to watch before the Lord.
TUESDAY; Coventry Deanery Meeting at St. John Fisher 11am-3pm
ST. THOMAS MORE SCHOOL Carol Service in Church at 6.30pm followed by refreshments in the MRR. Do come along and join in prayer and songs with our school community.
PATNERSHIP PARISH MASS will be celebrated this Tuesday, 7.00pm at St. Anne’s, Willenhall. The theme of the homily is ‘Mary: Lady of Sorrows’.  Holy Hour with Confession from 6.00pm at St. Anne’s. All welcome.

ADVENT DAY OF RECOLLECTION On Saturday 17th December an Advent day of prayer and reflection will be led by Sr. Teresa Browne SP in the Convent of Corpus Christi on Lang Bank Avenue. The day will begin with Mass at 10am in the Convent Chapel, and end at 4pm.  Lunch will be provided as well as tea and coffee during the day.  Why not use this day as a wonderful opportunity to take time out and focus on the real reason for the season.
